"Ovidius" University of Constanța has a long tradition of research in marine biology, sustainable development, and climate change in the Danube area, Danube Delta, Black Sea, and related ecosystems.
The university is a member of the Black Sea Universities Network and of EIT RawMaterials.
The Institute for Nanotechnologies and Alternative Energy Sources oversees the implementation of specific project no. 2 - Act4DEutrophication - Active Measures for Restoring Sweet-Water Lakes and Coastal Areas Affected by Eutrophication.
