REACTIVE present at the Geoscience 2024 Conference

The event, organized by the Romanian Society of Applied Geophysics along with other partners, took place between 14–16 November 2024 in Bucharest.

The REACTIVE subproject presented recent results including analyses of seismic noise variation during extreme storms and progress in expanding environmental monitoring networks, broadband seismic stations, infrasound systems, and GNSS atmospheric sensors.

• The presentation on ”Capturing the Impact of Extreme Events through Citizen Reports" put the spotlight on the role of citizen science in capturing the impact of extreme events, showcasing the REACTIVE Extreme Events Platform as an innovative tool for participatory climate monitoring.
