The book “The Influence of Climate Change on Vectors and Vector-Borne Diseases” examines the climate-driven emergence of vector-borne diseases affecting human and animal health, supporting the development of evidence-based public health measures, veterinary prevention strategies, and climate change adaptation, fully aligned with the One Health framework.

VeBDisease Project: KickOff at USV Iași
The VeBDisease project, one of the five component projects of the DTEClimate Competence Center, will develop interdisciplinary research following the One Health paradigm. This approach emphasizes that emerging diseases, ecosystem degradation, and climate-driven risks must be addressed through integrated, cross-sectoral research and coordinated policies that consider the health of people, animals, and the planet as part of an interdependent system.
